Looks like you did a good job.  Where did you get the floor?  Have it made?  I'm sure you've got COLD under the dash A/C!  One question :  Why go with a station wagon?  Isn't it a little heavy?  Should be a sleeper untill they hear the bump stick!

Gonna take the week off myself.  My one employee is semi-retired.  Works 3 days a week and can only draw 4 pay days a month.  July had 5 paydays so, he needed to be off a week.  I needed to do an ass load of work on the old homestead and he wanted to help his son with a fireworks stand.  First week of July seemed to be great for everyone.  (F'in hot to be in a fireworks stand and working on the side of the house, though!)  At least I can go jump in the pool when I get hot!

Hope you have a good week's work on the car.  You should record it running and then post it on youtube so we can hear it!  Shit, all the teenagers do it!

The guy im building it with raced in the late 60s with the same car with
a good friend of his, the friend found this car, then died a year later so its going to be a little sentimental thing going on. oh yea its heavy
4.200 lbs but the class we will race in is 3,900-4300 lbs. so well be racing with equal cars.  we got the floor from yearone if i remember correctly. it came in two pieces. the fittment was great.just a little trimming and weld in. the hardest part was getting the old rusty one out
seemed like a million spot welds. no ac,no power steering, no power breaks, nothing!
