Had a customer call me today asking about rebuilding a starter for a 1000 CC motor in a 1973 Sportster. He says that it is a Hitachi starter. I need to know if anyone has any information about these starters. What I REALLY need is the actual unit number of the starter so I can see if there are any parts available for it.
